Yarema are a Ukrainian-influenced band, based in Ashton-under-Lyne, England. They play Ukrainian folk music but with a rocky edge and funky bass lines.
Line up: accordion, a voice or two , guitar, bass, and drums. Their first gig was New Year's Eve 2005 and since then regular gigs across the length and breadth of the UK have ensued. The highlight of Yarema's career so far has been playing as support for The Ukrainians.
